Russ Otterwell is a food and drink journalist and consultant.
After leaving the music industry over a decade ago, he returned to writing with his contributions to the ground breaking therestaurantgame.com and Restaurant Magazine. At this time he was also reviewing cocktail bars for Drinks Bible CLASS and writing restaurant and bar reviews for industry magazine HOT in addition to his work with The Restaurant Association.
These days he divides his time between writing and consultancy, contributing articles and reviews to Waitrose Food Illustrated, Metro and the Manchester Evening News. He continues to write for CLASS Magazine and is a member of the judging panel for the National Bar Awards and a former Chair of the bar awards panel for the Northern Hospitality Awards.
